Abstract

Education becomes a benchmark for the progress of a country, especially higher education. In higher education as a place to forge graduates who have high quality must have lecturers who have good citizenship behavior. Many factors trigger good citizenship behavior, one of which is the commitment in the organization and the adequacy of compensation obtained. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of organizational liability and payment on organizational citizenship behavior, both partially and moderated by the locus of control. The analytical method uses Moderated Regression Analyze (MRA) with SPSS Version 20.00. The sampling method uses random sampling from the Slovin formula from a total population of 207 lecturers to 67 lecturers as a sample. The results showed that organizational commitment and compensation had a positive and partially significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Locus of control does not moderate the impact of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior. Locus of control moderates the impact of compensation on organizational citizenship behavior
